FOODS TO EAT TO REDUCE ANXIETY


Whole Grain Foods -Foods like bread and whole grain pasta and other true whole grain foods, since a number of whole grain diets have processed ingredients, are truly beneficial for anxiety sufferrers. Whole grain has tryptophan, wich helps in the production of the neurotransmitter serotonin. It also has magnesium in huge amounts. Deficiency in magnesium is probable to anxiety. Whole grain functions really well for anxiety;  it reduces hunger while simultaneously increasing healthy energy. It has great effects on anxiousness and has the nutrients which recent day diets lack.


Blueberries - there's more to blueberries than just being a delicious fruit. A number of people consider it a superfood. It has lots of plant nutrients and vitamins. Moreover, it contains various antioxidants that can be highly important stress reliever . A huge number of experts claim that peaches also belong to this category since they contain nutrients which functions as sedative or has calming effects.




Almonds - an underrated food, has zinc which is a main nutrient for the maintenance of balanced moods. It also has healthy fats and iron. Healthy fats contribute to a balanced diet and less amount of iron results to brain fatigue, which can cause lack of energy and anxiety.

Chocolate - especially the pure ones with no added milk or sugars is highly beneficial for persons who are in constant anxiety. Chocolate minimizes amounts of cortisol which is a stress hormonmptoms of anxiety. Some compounds contained in dark chocolate also helps to improve mood.


Maca Root - which is found in a number of health food stores, can be added to many beverages and foods. It is claimed that this root contains several amount of phytonutrients including iron and magnesium. It has more phytonutrients compared to a number of fruits and vegetables. Iron and magnesium are important elements for reducing anxiety. Maca root is also a source of energy and healthy stamina.


Asparagus  - contains the B vitamins folate that become folic acid inside the body. Anxiety, as well as depression are related to deficiency of folic acid. One of the famous sources of this is asparagus. Moreover, asparagus is rich in fiber and Vitamin C. Vitamin C helps to reduce heart disease and blood pressure while fiber slows down production of blood sugar inside the body. High blood sugar can result to anxiety. Consequently, foods rich in fiber can greatly help in lowering blood pressure.

In order to keep calm from anxiety and lift moods, you must minimize consumption of processed foods and take more natural products instead. Moreover, what we drink has results in our stress levels.  Drinking alcohol have short term calming effects but it leaves the body dehydrated, worsening the anxiety. If you can't give up altogether, just try drinking in moderation 

A healthy diet is one of the most helpful ways to combat stress and anxiety. Water, is considered to be the best thing to be added on your diet. Studies show that dehydration affects about 25 percent or more of individuals with constant stress. Dehydration can result to more severe anxiety
